After looking into this, we would need to spin up a minimal s2s rest api in
order for other (Mi)NiFi instances to be able to talk to the ports. This adds
nontrivial overhead in MiNiFi and isn't justified without a clear usecase.
My work in progress branch is at
https://github.com/brosander/nifi-minifi/tree/MINIFI-133 if there is value seen
in this feature at a later date.
It would be nice to be able to encapsulate this functionality in a nar so the
user only bears the overhead if they need the functionality.
