If the MiNiFi-CPP binary is invoked without the MINIFI_HOME ENV variable being
present on the system there is a condition where a duplicate std::string with
the same name is declared and causes the resulting value of MINIFI_HOME to
always be NULL. This subsequently causes MiNiFi to seg fault and not startup
since no configuration files can be found.
