Can you try out the patch that i attached to this ticket?
I updated the kite nar to set the hadoop-libraries-nar as its parent. This
allows us to get rid of a lot of the dependencies in the nar and reduces it to
a total of about 11-12 MB. But I need to ensure that I set everything up right.
I ran some files through the ConvertCSVToAvro and ConvertJsonToAvro and that
seemed okay. I used PutHDFS and that appeared to be okay. But the kite stuff is
complaining about the descriptor not existing. So I don't have something setup
right, but I'm hoping that you can verify that it works correctly for you.
