Mark : Seems like you merged the commit but i just noticed on github aldrin had 
done a review and had some important comments:

Aldrin/Mark: Can you sync on that?

I have NIFI-418 from Brian ready to roll but i have not tested plain SMTP.  
Don't have an open servers to test with that I know of.  Could set one up i 
suppose..
