Joseph Witt commented on NIFI-455:
----------------------------------

So i think i understand alternatives suggested here but they are for different
uses and nothing is preventing those from being options as well. But what is
the issue with this particular problem and solution?

There are very valid reasons to avoid putting junk on the heap. This is a
valid implementation. If other valid implementations are offered great. What
are the costs of this approach which make not pursuing it valid (in the absence
of other actual implementations offered)?

thanks
Joe
