Review Comment:
   I wonder if the 8 could be replaced with a define to make the code more 
self-documenting?
   
   (I looked through the microcontroller reference manual and the 
`arch/arm/src/stm32h7/hardware/stm32_tim.h` header and these do not appear to 
be register bits? Perhaps they only pertain to the NuttX driver implementation, 
or I missed something...)
