Hi @cederom ! I'm sorry. I forgot to mention that the general I2S driver is currently broken for our devices (at least, I tested it on ESP32-S3 and ESP32-C6 using the `i2schar` driver). This PR was part of the effort to have a reliable testing mechanism. I have already provided a fix for the RISC-V device, but I haven't submitted it yet. In fact, this assertion is related to the lack of such a fix. It still requires some steps to be fully functional for all devices, so that's why I haven't submitted the fix yet. > ps/2: you may want to update apps repo name and remove incubator (https://github.com/tmedicci/incubator-nuttx-apps.git) ? :-) Yes, I know...
