It looks like I just needed to enable `CONFIG_LV_USE_NUTTX`. I wasn't looking for that option since it wasn't mentioned directly in Lup's blog, but I found it in the pinephone configuration for LVGL. The widget demo renders correctly and without pixel skipping, which is what Tim's description of the LVGL implementation would indicate as well.
