i am experiencing this same issue on the latest git checkout, with the esp32-devkitc:smp configuration and ESP32_IRAM_HEAP enabled. i initially encountered it on some out-of-tree boards i am working with. on my system, i am using esptool v5.0.2. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
