   BTW, comparing other archs to the stm32 seems out of place to me. No other 
architecture supports so many families and chips. No other architecture can 
have the problems the stm32 port has now. These only appear at larger scales. 
With 3-5 families, I don't see a problem with duplication, as with Nordic chips 
(nrf52, nrf53, nrf91 use almost the same peripherals). Problems arise with 20 
architectures
