Hi @acassis @linguini1 , this build-system change already has one approval
from xiaoxiang and CI is green — could
one of you take a look for the second review? It's a follow-up in the same
area as #19365.
Heads-up for context: my next PR adds CMake build support for the Ameba
boards (RTL8721Dx / RTL8720F) and is based on this change (it also touches
tools/ameba/Config.mk), so landing this one first unblocks that follow-up.
