## Summary CAN_RAW_FD_FRAMES (__SO_PROTOCOL + 4 = 20) has the same value as SO_TIMESTAMPNS (20). can_setsockopt() stored the CAN_RAW boolean options in conn->sconn.s_options, which also holds the SOL_SOCKET option bits, so enabling CAN FD frames enabled nanosecond receive timestamps (cmsg_store_timestamp() checks the same bit) and setting SO_TIMESTAMPNS made the socket accept CAN FD frames. Keep the CAN_RAW_LOOPBACK, CAN_RAW_RECV_OWN_MSGS, CAN_RAW_FD_FRAMES and CAN_RAW_TX_DEADLINE flags in a separate raw_options field of struct can_conn_s. ## Impact bugfix ## Testing detected by automate tests from https://github.com/railab/nuttx-testlab -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
