commit e82aafe61bdfa7fc0cda793d70af8bd0d678710d Author: Marco Casaroli <[email protected]> AuthorDate: Wed Oct 28 10:37:56 2026 +0100 sched/Kconfig: SCHED_HAVE_PARENT needs signals. With CONFIG_SCHED_HAVE_PARENT, a task that exits sends SIGCHLD to its parent (group_signal() in task_exithook.c), and waitpid() and waitid() wait for SIGCHLD with nxsig_timedwait(). With CONFIG_DISABLE_ALL_SIGNALS none of these functions is built, so a protected build that has both options does not link: task_exithook.c:208: undefined reference to `group_signal' sched_waitpid.c:193: undefined reference to `nxsig_timedwait' Make SCHED_HAVE_PARENT depend on !DISABLE_ALL_SIGNALS. waitpid() without SCHED_HAVE_PARENT does not use signals.
