@sumpfralle Could you retry the original RP2040 configuration on current master? #20536 added the missing nuttx/config.h include to arch_mcount.S, allowing it to select the Thumb-1 implementation. As noted above, I verified that the profiling build fails before that fix and succeeds afterwards on a Cortex-M0+ Nucleo-G071RB.
