@kernelgurumeditation hopefully this new configuration will help you with both of your questions https://github.com/apache/incubator-nuttx/issues/2323 https://github.com/apache/incubator-nuttx-apps/issues/481 Also the way that I set up the configuration there are actually two copies of the example applications. The elf example takes the raw romfs and converts it to a static buffer that it mounts and then executes from. This violates the POSIX interfaces. I also have the board define a ROMFS using the image the generated by the example elf and have this mounted. So what is in `/rom` actually has nothing to do with the `elf_main.c` and only to do with what is in the tests.
