@davids5 if possible, I'd like your opinion about this PR. Currently it's marked as Draft just to get feedback. Does the implementation look reasonable to you? In uart_tcsendbreak() I wrote a REVISIT comment about doing (the equivalent of) tcdrain() before doing the Break.
