While Balance provides an awesome framework for web applications, a good deal
of our web-based front-end work at JPL has been devoted towards what we call
"modules". Modules (as you have most likely already guessed) are code
components that you can drop into your Balance deployment and have working
after minimal configuration (no coding necessary). The Cas-Browser is one of
the Balance modules that we've been developing. It's used to look at products
contained in a File Manager and provides great ways to browse that data and
then download it (if enabled) via a Product Server.
I'll have a patch up as soon as I can add all of the Apache headers.
