There has been renewed interest in implementing the ProdTypePatternMetExtractor
proposed
[here|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OODT/MetExtractors+for+Crawler].
I was going to add it to the "metadata" module under the
"org.apache.oodt.cas.metadata.extractors" package.
