P.S. Regarding the integration tests, you can have a look at [openssh](https://github.com/openssh-rust/openssh/blob/master/run_ci_tests.sh). We also run it in [GHA](https://github.com/openssh-rust/openssh/blob/master/.github/workflows/test.yml) and we found waiting for `sshd` starts up necessary since it sometimes take quite some time to startup.
