   <!-- Greeting -->
   Hi @clbarnes! I'm [Dosu](https://go.dosu.dev/dosubot) and I’m helping the
opendal team.

   <!-- Answer -->
   You're right—both `just` and `uv` are required for development, especially
for Python bindings, and several issues confirm their importance in the
workflow ([example](https://github.com/apache/opendal/issues/6748),
[example](https://github.com/apache/opendal/issues/5814)). There isn't an
existing issue directly tracking their absence in the devcontainer, so your
report is valuable.

   To fix this, you can add installation steps for both tools in the
devcontainer's Dockerfile (usually found in `.devcontainer/`). For `just`, you
can use the official release binaries or install via package manager if
available. For `uv`, use the official install script or `pipx`. This will
ensure both are available out-of-the-box.

   If you submit a PR with these changes, it will help streamline development
for everyone. Let me know if you want any feedback on your Dockerfile changes!
