> Priority: Critical
>
> I understood there are a couple of improvements for the screen-sharing. As
> demanded by many people. However one of the challenges was always the CPU
> usage. If you scan the screen for too many updates and calculate the needed
> frames, the screen-sharing takes 100% of your CPU.
> Especially for us this is a problem. Unfortunately the Flash Plugin sharing
> your camera already takes 20% of the CPU. If you choose a higher resolution
> even 40-50%.
> On my system (Mac OSx, 4GB Ram, Dual Core 2.4GHz, Java7, default screen
> sharing settings) the cpu immediately jumps to 120%. I can make a 1 minute
> demo video but for a real conference I can't use that tool.
> I would like to verify: What is the CPU usage on your machines?
> Do we have some kind of benchmark for different machines?
