UPDATE:
I recreated the keystore using the tool
http://keystore-explorer.sourceforge.net/downloads.php
I put my private key+cert pair into it (alias red5) and the certs of my cert
issuer too
this is still not working, but the
the log does not have "Connection not found for..." entries anymore
please have a look! logs are attached. thanks
