Maxim Solodovnik resolved OPENMEETINGS-1224.

Resolution: Cannot Reproduce
Just have tried using latest 3.0.7 SNAPSHOT (should work the same with 3.0.6)
Steps
1) get SID
2) loginUser user this SID
3) get secureHash using the exact query provided in comments + SID from step 1
4) enter the room using secureHash
Result: Recording icon is available in top right corner of the room
Resolving as NREP please re-open with additional steps in case still an issue
