Yury Dergachev commented on OPENMEETINGS-1582:
----------------------------------------------
I used charsets koi8r and cp1251. I tried to set charset parameters in an
explicit form (file my.cnf) and implicitly through the environment settings.
The result is the same: after entering a Cyrillic text, it becomes unreadable
and turns into a "?????". Thanks for link. =)))

> After you create a calendar event on different operating systems (for
> example: "Event 1" is created from the OS Windows 7 and "Event 2" is created
> from OS Windows 8.1) russian charset changes and the text becomes unreadable.
> An experimental way found that the error does not depend on the version of
> the browser. If the version of the browser is the same, but different OS -
> error occurs. If the same OS and the browser is the same - no error. After
> creating the calendar events russian charset does not change immediately, but
> after some time.
> (Sorry, my english is very bad)
