Ed Nett updated OPENMEETINGS-2195:
----------------------------------
    Attachment: OpenMeetings-M4-27-mar-1440-chrome.pdf

Hello at 14:23 UTC.  I am entering the "Private Conference Room" at
your test site (M4 testing):

https://om.alteametasoft.com:8443/next/#room/8

OS is Windows 10 Pro for all 3 browsers:

Chrome:  I enter the room and in the left column user area I see:
default I see orange colored mic image with slash and orange colored
video camera with slash - and there is a red circle, even after i
refresh.

At the same time a dragable user rectangle pops up and I see the video
of myself and see the green volume bar rise when I speak (on this
dragable pop-up user rectangle the tiny "speaker" icon has the white
background rather than a light blue background like the minimize icon
and the refresh icon.

I do not hear myself when I speak on chrome!

On Edge, I see the same thing on the screen (almsot exactly - there is
no green volume bar on the dragable user rectangle with the video in
it, rather there is a backlit green flash under the dragable user
rectangle. except that I hear myself when I speak into the mic.

On Firefox  - it is exactly like chrome except that I see a green
circle (dot) next to that user in the left column user bar, and i DO
hear myself when i speak as well as see the vertical volume bar rise.

Hope this helps - I thought you had already made the switch - the two
lines of code. I attache screenshot of 1st user logging on to Chrome
(when I don't hear myself back from the laptop's speakers when I speak
into the mic - like I do with Edge and FF

Best Ed

>  On Chrome: the mic is not enabled by default, when I click on it, it turns
> orangish color and has backslash through it, but it still doesn't work - even
> though I can see the green audio level rising when I speak. This is with the
> other user's mic (I am connected as two different users using the two
> different browsers) disabled.
> When I enable the other users mike (the user on edge) it still doesn't work
> for the user on Chrome. Additionally, each time I click on the mic as the
> chrome user, another little "speaker" icon with its own volume level appears
> in the user column at the right of the user next to the green dot.
