Maxim Solodovnik resolved OPENMEETINGS-2211.
--------------------------------------------
    Resolution: Invalid

Unfortunately this is impossible
For most people OM is build on my local machine (RELEASE)
It would be surprising if my personal JAVA_HOME will be memorized for other
people

Others use builds from build server which are build on Jenkins Ubuntu nodes

There are people who are on another OSes
(Windows users most probably will use startup/catalina.bat)

If you believe all above is wrong, well, you can file issue at Tomcat bug
tracker, this is their script :))))

> bin/startup.sh uses the default Java version and not Java which is has been

>
> On FreeBSD I have a default Java version 8 with executable in /usr/local/bin,
> but OpenMeetings was built with Java 11 from /usr/local/openkdk11.
>
> However, bin/startup.sh still uses /usr/local/bin/java and fails with some
> error.
>
> Expected behavior: Build should memorize what Java was used and use the same
> version from bin/startup.sh, unless the user explicitly requires some other
> version (via JAVA_HOME or JRE_HOME).
