Marcus commented on OPENMEETINGS-2277:
--------------------------------------

Hello Maxim, Sebastian,

this week i had a next customer with OSX. Safari could not transfer audio and
video although it requests for permission to use camera and microphone, receive
was fine. With Google Chrome everything was fine.

It's a pity with video-conferencing and different kind of OS/Browser
combinations. Not only with OM but also with a lot of other tools I used during
theese cracy corona times.

As a summary (for me) OM has the best compatibility. Maybe browser, security,
OS's is not yet ready for production.

Btw: I had no issues with Linux, yet.

Do you have any kind of howto for debugging this issues? Loglevel, logfiles,
javascript, etc?

-->  Will try to upgrade from M3 to OM-M5

greetings from the sunrise of germany

Marcus

> Apple Mac doesn't play any audio coming from OM
> Although browser requests permission for Camera and Microphone and everything
> looks fine (Audio/Video is transferred to the clients) the local audio is
> dead. Only the tone for enter room and exit room  is beeing played on local
> audio.
> Tested with loudspeakers as well as headphones and Apple-Play (personally I
> don't know anything about Apple-Play, looks like something similar to Alexa?)
