Ali Alhaidary commented on OPENMEETINGS-2443:
---------------------------------------------

Upper case was an example, as it applies on numerals as well. Arabic
numerals used in Arabic keyboards are also sometimes not considered as
(numerals) in programming. Also, and I am talking about hundreds of our
users, do not know what a special character is !

I was trying to avoid having the user to add another language (that he
has no knowledge about) to his device just to put proper password.

It could be very helpful and beneficial to add another boolean for
numerals and special characters as well.

> Currently user passwords are designed for Latin character set, however,  it
> is not suitable for Arabic character set as there is no Upper and lower case
> characters in Arabic alphabet something needed for proper password in OM.
> Thus, Arabic users can not use Arabic password which prohibits them from
> using the service.
> I suggest to put number of upper case, lowercase and numbers as options as in
> the number of the lenth of password and first name ... etc
