Please break out the Room permission. There should be a permission that creates 
a presentation room, a permission that creates a conference room, and another 
permission for users to be able to join MODERATED conference/presentation rooms 
that they can see assigned to their group or public group without hashed 
invitations. Room - Presentation, Room - Conference, Room - Users
