I've just tried to upload {{doc/xls/pdf}} locally at {{Ubuntu 26.04}}
Everything works as expected
According to your logs, you have
{code}
Last OS error: Permission denied
{code}
Could you please check if
# ImageMagic is allowed to convert PDF files (denied by default)
# Is ImageMagic/GS allowed to write temporary files
maybe system logs also need to be checked
AppArmor can be trouble-maker at Ubuntu 26 ....
