# Rationale As the Parquet format continues to pick up momentum around new changes, we should make it easier for people to find information about both the format and the status of various implementations. (also I got nerd sniped by @pitrou 's suggestion to add DataPage V2 to the implementation status page in https://github.com/apache/parquet-site/pull/124) # Changes 1.
