Allow column major segment build is a great feature, especially when the source file is column major (e.g. parquet, pinot segment etc.). I'd suggest isolating the column major build as a separate PR (it is an important improvement for ingestion in general), and not associate it with a specific task. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
