jackjlli opened a new pull request #4710: Clean up unused and remove redundant metrics URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-pinot/pull/4710 This PR cleans up all the unused metrics and removes redundant metrics. e.g. `PINOT_CONTROLLER_PARTITION_LEADER` can be removed because it can be replaced by getting the value of `CONTROLLER_LEADER_PARTITION_COUNT` plus calling the controller leader API. Other metrics like `CONTROLLER_INTERNAL_ERROR` even get used in the code at all.
