Follow-up to issuecomment-5377289363: addressed the actionable Zstd consistency nit in 7c5dfae64c. decodeInto now routes the frame-declared size through the shared 1 GiB gate, with a regression covering a cap+1 declaration. The BIG_ENDIAN working views remain intentional for typed transforms in the later stack, and the GZIP ThreadLocal state remains bounded per worker; a different pooling/lifecycle design would be separate scope. Validation on exact head: 57 codec tests passed; Spotless, Checkstyle (0 violations), license format, and license check all passed for pinot-segment-local. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
