## Summary Single-stage selection treats a literal order-by as a sorted prefix. `now()` is constant-folded to a literal, so a query such as `SELECT col, now() AS t FROM t ORDER BY 2` is planned with `SelectionPartiallyOrderedByDescOperation`. That operator requires an identifier and throws `The query is not order by identifiers`. A literal can still extend a prefix that includes a sorted identifier. A prefix with no identifier now uses the general order-by operator. Fixes #19701 ## Test plan - [x] `JAVA_HOME=25 ./mvnw -pl pinot-core -am -Dtest=InnerSegmentSelectionSingleValueQueriesTest -Dsurefire.failIfNoSpecifiedTests=false test -Ppinot-fastdev` — 21 tests, 0 failures. Before the fix, `ORDER BY 2 DESC` threw `IllegalArgumentException: The query is not order by identifiers` at `SelectionPlanNode.run`. - [x] `./mvnw -pl pinot-core spotless:apply license:format checkstyle:check license:check` — 0 violations -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
