Run-compressed bitmaps now select the codec's heap fallback, and bitmap heap writes reject incomplete payloads. Explicit buffer writes and wire bytes stay compatible. **Reproduce:** serialize an eight-container run bitmap into a direct Arrow cell; per-container NIO views raise allocation from about 192 to 449 B/row. **Validation:** 305 focused codec tests and enabled style checks passed; the controlled Arrow comparison is running for startreedata/startree-pinot#4759. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
