Yes I see this in production as well. This is due to the Google experimental API introduced a GRPC API version that's for some reason packaged together with the distribution. This when GRPC channel creation occurs it will throw error. Can you share the EXACT command you used to build Pinot? B/c I was unable to reproduce in Intellij so there must be something we done wrong with recent version upgrades -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
