ic, it simply loads the snapshot bitmaps and set them to immutableSegment
via `enableUpsert`, which is kinda brittle as snapshot bitmaps might be gone
from server.
Thanks for the explanation. perhaps add a comment here like "crucial ...
because the segment out of ttl is skipped in doAddSegment"
