I just pulled a clean version of master and ran it on a cluster with and
without the minimizeJar option in the pom. Without the minimizeJar option, the
error went away (of course, it was present with the option).
Instead of just removing the option completely (as it does greatly reduce the
size of the final jar), let's take a look to see if there is a way to fix the
issue without minimizing out such dependencies.
