I think these changes do a good job of laying out the notation used and
pointing interested users to resources they can use for a more in-depth review.
I think it's still true that any user who hasn't taken graduate level math
courses may take a while to work out how it all actually works, but (at least
in my personal experience) that's been true for all other crypto algorithms as
well.
