Review Comment:
   Fixed in 237d195d. The `quantity` parse is now wrapped in try/catch and 
raises `PlcInvalidTagException` ("quantity out of range in: …"), matching the 
device-number parse a few lines above in the same method, so an int-overflowing 
value like `D0:WORD[999999999999]` no longer leaks a raw 
`NumberFormatException`. Covered by `SlmpTagTest.rejectsQuantityOverflowingInt`.

Review Comment:
   Fixed in 237d195d. `monitoring-timer` is now validated to be within `[0, 
65535]` (the uint16 range of the 3E-frame field) and out-of-range values fail 
with `PlcConnectionException`.
   
   Note on placement: the check lives in `SlmpConnection.onConnect()`, not the 
setter. The configuration is populated by direct field injection 
(`ConfigurationFactory` → `FieldUtils.writeField`), which bypasses the setters, 
so `onConnect` is the one enforcement point that covers both the config-string 
and programmatic construction paths. Covered by 
`connectRejectsMonitoringTimerOutsideUnsigned16Range`.
