@addisonj @lhotari Thanks for the quick response. I will review my consumer
code. However I have a few questions:
1. In the first topic-stats I posted: all but 1 of the consumers have
availablePermits as 1. Their unackedMessages is 0 as well. So that 1 remaining
message in the backlog should have been dispatched to the other consumers.
> "availablePermits" : 1,
"unackedMessages" : 0,
Even in the 2nd topic-stats I posted there are a couple of consumers which
have availablePermits as 1. Shouldn't these consumers still receive messages?
2.
> However, if your application fails to acknowledge too many messages
What is the exact threshold of unackedMessages? In the examples I posted,
total unackedMessages are 1 and 24. I thought the threshold was something like
50k.
3. I see "blockedConsumerOnUnackedMsgs" : false in both the topic-stats I
posted for all of the consumers. Shouldn't this be true if what you said is the
reason. While debugging this issue, I was looking at this and deduced that it's
a separate issue altogether and nothing to do with unackedMessages.
