I noticed that this is needed to fix the issue too: https://github.com/apache/pulsar/pull/14117/commits/02a32010f6010646e49b1a05c5a442e00f55a399 That alone would fix the issue. However I think it's better to not add a new API version in this way since it's not even consistent.
