After some investigation, here are the conditions of this issue: 1. The ledger is closed. 2. The broker holds the `LedgerHandle` open (some subscriptions are stuck in a redelivery loop). 3. After recovery is triggered (due to a bookie crash or recreation), ensemble changes will not take effect in the `LedgerHandler` internal metadata. 4. After the crashed bookie restarts with its old IP or `bookieId`, it will receive read entry requests from ledgers that previously belonged to it. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
