@justin-lathrop Yes, there are quite a few changes for metrics in 3.0.5 ([release notes](https://github.com/apache/pulsar/releases/tag/v3.0.5)). It would help the investigation to get a threaddump after the request for metrics is in progress. you can use `jstack -l 1` in the pod to get the thread dump.
