Apologies, I didn't see this question until today. Alas, the creation of the producer from the client prespective did not succeed. Our logs indicated that our code kept continually retrying, but was not successful in reconnecting for more than a minute. I believe the C++ client will keep choosing the same broker to try to create the producer and it's unclear when the broker will update its cached idea of how many partitions there are in the topic (if ever). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
