@lhotari I'm a frequent OSS contributor, and have made a few contributions to Apache Pulsar as well as a few other StreamNative projects. It feels disingenuous for someone working for as the CTO of a for-profit company saying this project is run by volunteers, when you clearly have some financial incentives here. I don't mind helping, but it does not bode well when the company who's sales team cold calls me at work is also asking for volunteer work. I'd be less upset if the ask was more along the lines of new feature work, rather than implementing something to work in the way most people would already expect it to.
