### Motivation Apache Flume is not maintained anymore ([mailing list vote](https://lists.apache.org/thread/dg9wro6dp7w95o1x911lbyqxzl808b3l), [website notice](https://flume.apache.org/)). Since it's not maintained, vulnerable library dependencies won't be addressed.
