I was able to reproduce this issue on a cluster with a single broker and a partitioned topic (with 4 partitions) sending messages to a single filter function that was also running on that broker. I was also able to reproduce it using a non-partitioned topic after allowing backlog to accumulate (by stopping the function) and then resuming the function after several thousand messages accumulated on the backlog. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
