My topic had 32 partitions, yes. All tests are already being run with `brokerDeleteInactiveTopicsEnabled: "false"` in the Helm chart (and I've repeatedly seen that it's working and that topics are not being deleted between test runs). When I'm back at work next week, I'll adapt your test code and be sure to issue a "close" on the producer in the event of a failure. I'd hope that doing a close RPC exchange isn't required in order to prevent stuckness, however. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
